In the spring of 2023, Larry Massey and Will Cravens of the Scanlan Foundation posed a question to a group of Catholic campus ministers…

“Is there a right way to build an effective campus ministry?”

The group prayed, discussed, debated, and deliberated. After a year-long study and hundreds of hours of interviews, research, and writing, the Campus Ministry Playbook was born. This Playbook is intended to be a tool for Catholic campus ministries to evaluate, assess, and level up their efforts and increase and enhance their effectiveness on campus.

Inside this Campus Ministry Playbook, you will find descriptions of the core components that should construct an effective campus ministry.

Through dedicated effort and a strategic approach, ministries can integrate both heart and purpose into their core operations, setting the stage for sustained impact.
